Privacy Notice

How we collect, use and protect personal information on rsvawarenessmonth.org — in plain language.

1. Who we are

This website, rsvawarenessmonth.org (the “Site”), is operated by Alliance for Health Implementation Science, Inc. (“AHIS,” “we,” “us”), a Delaware nonprofit corporation based in Thousand Oaks, California. AHIS is responsible for the personal information collected through the Site. Questions: info@ahis.org.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. Most of the Site can be used without giving us any personal information. We only collect what you choose to submit:

Sign-up form: first and last name, email address, organization (optional), what you’d like to do, and any message.
Partner form: organization name and website, contact name and email, partnership level, your logo file, any message, and your permissions (logo display and campaign guidelines).
Email: anything you send to info@ahis.org.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request — to operate and secure the Site.

3. What we don’t do

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or retargeting.
We don’t show ads.
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, or share it for advertising.
Fonts and images are served from this Site, not from third-party services.

If this changes — for example, if we add privacy-friendly analytics — we will update this notice first.

4. How we use your information

To send the RSV Awareness Month updates and materials you signed up for.
To reply to your message and follow up on what you asked about (for example, an event, a story or a partnership).
To review partner applications and, once approved, display partner names, logos and website links on the Site and in campaign materials.
To report campaign results in aggregate (for example, the number of sign-ups or partners). These reports do not identify individuals.
To operate, protect and improve the Site, and to meet legal obligations.

5. Information we publish

When a partner application is approved, we publish the organization’s name, logo and website link, with the permission given in the partner form. We do not publish sign-up details. We will never publish a personal story, name or photo without first asking for and receiving your permission.

6. Health information

The Site offers general health information and does not ask for your medical history. Please don’t include personal medical details in our forms or emails. If you choose to share a story that includes health information, we will use it only to follow up with you, and publish it only with your explicit permission.

7. Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site. They process information only on our behalf and according to our instructions:

Netlify, Inc. (United States) — website hosting, server logs, form processing and form notification emails.
Our email provider — to receive and answer email sent to info@ahis.org.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or security of AHIS, the Site or others.

8. How long we keep it

Sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Partner submissions: for as long as the partnership is active, plus a reasonable period for our records. Submissions that aren’t approved are deleted after review.
Messages: for as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records.
Server logs: according to our hosting provider’s standard retention.

9. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to info@ahis.org. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

10. Do Not Track and California privacy

Do Not Track. We do not track visitors across websites or over time, and we do not allow third parties to do so on this Site. Because we don’t use tracking technologies, the Site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal.

California residents. This notice is intended to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

11. Children

The Site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited access to form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Links to other websites

The Site links to other websites, such as the CDC and our partners. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

14. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
