Who should get an RSV vaccine.

  • Everyone 75 and older
  • Adults 50–74 with chronic heart or lung disease
  • Adults 50–74 with diabetes, kidney disease or a weakened immune system
  • Adults 50–74 living in a nursing home

Good to know

  • It’s one dose — not every year
  • Late summer and early fall is the best time
  • Your pharmacy may offer it
  • Ask even if you already had RSV

A single RSV vaccine, ideally before RSV season peaks.

Most insurance plans cover recommended immunizations. Check with your pharmacy or plan about cost.
